Sunny locations for remote workers

With an ever-growing number of remote workers due to companies changing their work-from-home policies around Europe, it is clear that the choice of city to move in has now become an option. While traditional rental units are usually cheaper, they lack in flexibility and added services. Not only that, but since remote workers have the freedom to choose any city in the world, why wouldn't they choose the ones that are the most comfortable and sunniest?

While some people might love living in cold locations, I would assume that a majority of remote workers, especially those coming from northern regions, might enjoy milder weather during winter times. It is therefore not surprising to think that sunny locations such as Spain, Italy or Portugal are an obvious choice to them.

For those who prefer the city life, Madrid, Barcelona or Malaga are also a fantastic choice to get some sunshine, even during wintertime. In fact, after meeting with several remote workers over the summer, I have found, to my surprise, that they were even willing to quit a high-paying job that did not allow remote work in their home countries to move to Spain and enjoy the Mediterranean vibe.

With all this said, I believe that the remote worker have a bigger attraction towards sunny countries, while still looking for the flexibility and comfort.
